A creative team including
SCENE,
Improbable, and the
English National Opera, is staging Philip Glass' seminal opera
Einstein on the Beach. It will premiere at Aviva Studios, Home of Factory International Manchester with English National Opera in 2027, then come to New York City's Park Avenue Armory.
Neil Gershenfeld has assembled a "skills team" of notable scientists to work with them, with a goal of making Einstein's science legible through art. This workshop is being hosted by MIT's
Center for Bits and Atoms to bring these groups together, and kick off the collaboration.
